Hi guys!
I've been meaning to post an intro for a bit, but I'm bringing two! One on both sides of the fence so~ rejoice! (or don't if you're neutral!). I'm bringing Antonin Dolohov (here) and Charity Burbage (![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) weshallovercome here)
Antonin is a fullblood, Ravenclaw 1945. At school he was a prefect, wizard chess champion, and all around ponce studious individual who was friends with Tom Riddle. He is Assistant Head Cursebreaker at Gringotts, previously head of the Egyptian Team. He is also a scholarly Egyptologist who has used his position as Head of The Egyptian team to pen several works on Egyptian Wizarding society with a decidedly purist slant. He has a wife of 19 years and two children Alice (16; ) and Valentin (15) and a kitty cat, Sachmet.
Charity Burbage is pretty much the opposite. Ravenclaw 66, she's a 21 year old muggleborn who works at the secondhand robe shop in Diagon Alley. Her name may be familiar as her elder brother Alfred Burbage was killed in the purist riots in 1965, right before her last year. Charity did pretty terribly on her N.E.W.T.s with the exception of Muggle Studies. In school, she was pretty much a flower child, trying to host student protests and reflect muggle popular culture at Hogwarts. Since graduating, she's been pretty much the same, though has sort of stumbled between the wizarding and muggle world, trying to find where she belongs. She's decidedly anti-purist to the point of being practically anti-pureblood, very liberal socially, anti-ministry, anti-secrecy, and totally ready to die stir the pot! :D
Friends? Enemies? Flings? that sort of stuff? Antonin would love a person to play chess with over the journals. Charity would love a harmonica player. ♥ My aim's necessarypapers and my cdj's eyeball_tree for plottage and chatting :D

Well hello there! This is Emily, and I'm playing Quidditch star Catriona McCormack. Catriona was a Ravenclaw in school, and would have been class of '44 if she'd gone back for her second year, but instead she decided to follow her cousin Hamish (now head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports) into professional Quidditch. She has been chasing for Pride of Portree for around twenty years, and captain for the last ten. And she's technically still captain, but things are about to get complicated because she's about to find out that she's pregnant. Damn you, Brutus Scrimgeour.
Anyway... for the last twenty years or so she's been Quidditching and semi-partying and being a Very Bad Role Model, including a few rather scandalous photoshoots that she did at some point. I should probably say more about her, but I can't think of anything! So! That's it for now!
Oh, except that I reallllly want more Quidditch players in-game because she's unlikely to be close with anyone who isn't. Hamish would be awesome! Young female Quidditch players would be great too, because she rents out her old house in Paisley to them. She's a pretty good landlady... very cheap rent, and lots of fun as long as they don't try to corrupt any Pride of Portree players!

Hello! I'm Ruby and I play CHARMAINE OGDEN (NEE TRAVERS). She was a Slytherin and Head Girl during the class of '43 and married the Head Boy three-ish years later. She had twins, a boy and a girl, who are both Ravenclaws in their seventh year. Charmaine came from a purist family and still holds some purist values. She wasn't outcast but when she married Tiberius, a fullblood, there were some/many who looked down on her. She has been to way less Societal functions (most because she may not have been invited) but her BFF is Walburga Black from Hogwarts so she definitely still has her foot in her door.
Charmaine is managing the international aspects of her father's apothecary, Apothocraft. It sells high end ingredients and I imagine there's only one or two in England, but there are several others throughout Europe. They don't always sell legal ingredients, but her father still manages that aspect of things. She will occasionally help out with the Ogden's Old Firewhiskey but with any spare time she has, Charmaine is usually donating her time, money, and her ability to organize things to different charities. The Ogdens are known for their philanthropic nature and are patrons of the British Museum and the British Magical Library (among others). ..and they still manage to go on a date or two.
ALSO IF SOMEONE WANTS TO APP HER BROTHER, he is way young, 18 years younger than Charmaine, to be specific, which makes him 26. He is a hardcore purist with the exception to his lovely sister (she doesn't count!) and I imagine he may be a DE.
I'd mostly like to see where she stands in Society so I can figure out how they interact. The Ogden's are new money but quite wealthy.. I'll let Leigh explain more on that whenever she puts up her ooc on Tiberius (and Karl). I THINK THAT'S IT DON'T BE SCARED OF ME AND GIVE ME PLOT! ♥

G'day all! I'm Kat and I have two kids here.
This journal is for Arsenius Jigger - Ravenclaw Class of '43, Potions Master, Muggleborn, Apothecary owner, husband of Olive and father of one! Arsenius is a rather easy-going chap who really rather prefers brewing his potions to running the store and quite frankly may never have gotten around to opening his own apothecary if not for the nudging of his wife. :D Just as well he married her, eh?
And next is Albus Dumbledore (mugwump) who is the Headmaster of Hogwarts among other things and defeated his ex-boyfriend Gellert Grindelwald in a mighty battle which brought him more attention than he would have really liked but enough influence for his own peace of mind. He's already turned down the role of Minister twice (which I'm sure baffles many an ambitious Slytherin) and is quietly plotting and keeping an eye on that troublesome Tom Riddle.

Hi all!
I'm Kaz and I've got two kids: Bilius Weasley (this journal) and Mrs. Cordelia Malfoy (mrsabraxas).
Bilius is the oldest of the Weasley boys and works for the Department of Sport and Games (Quidditch division). He was a Gryffindor, 1952-1959 and played Keeper. He's a nice bloke, though very blunt, and a bit too much of a drinker. He's a commitmentphobe, but loves flirting with women and any woman interested in a casual relationship should apply. ;) He is Anti-Purist because really, if being pureblooded were all that, he'd be a much better person, he thinks. I'm looking for friends/enemies for Bilius, so if you're interested, let me know!
Cordelia is the wife of Abraxas and mother of Livia (16) and Lucius (15). She was a Slytherin, 1943-1950. She sits on several charities - namely for St. Mungo's, The Society for Distressed Witches, and the Tinworth Wizard's Home for the Aged, Insane and Infirm. She's more than a bit prejudiced, especially toward the lesser bloods (her words). She spoils her children and doesn't see anything hypocritical about thinking Mudbloods are trying to pervert wizarding society and wanting to help the "less fortunate". She'd love some friends, frenemies, and enemies!

Hi Everyone! This is just a little post to let all of you know that the OOC is now up and running for introductions and all of that fun stuff. I'm going to be having a kind of crazy weekend due to unforeseen circumstances, but game opening is still scheduled for the 15th! This week go ahead and put up your introductions and I'm going to try and put up some memes prior to game play just so people can have a bit of fun. I may be missing in action some this weekend but you can almost always reach me via text or email which is in the contact information and I will attempt to get back to you as soon as possible.
As for my introduction, hello, I'm Holly and I'm your Mod. Most of you know me from other games but for those that don't I look forward to playing with you. I've been Rping for a number of years and I've been taking a break from modding for about a year, so it's both nice and a bit odd to be putting on that hat again.
I have three characters here.
This journal is Olive Hornby Jigger. Slytherin Hogwarts Class of '44 Formerly known as the girl that made Moaning Myrtle cry, Olive has grown up a little and is married to her Hogwarts sweetheart, Arsenius Jigger. She's ambitious, still kind of nasty when she wants to be, and a little bit of a trouble maker, but being a mother has settled her down a tad. She manages her husband's Apothecary and formerly worked as a curse breaker at Gringotts.
Next is Barty Crouch Sr, crouchity, everyone's favourite DMLE Head and future DE Big Daddy. He's just been promoted to head of the DMLE in the past year or so and is intent on completely revamping it and putting a stop to all this protest nonsense. He's married (and currently looking for a wife!) and has a seven year old son Barty Jr who he kind of forgets about a lot of the time because he's such a workaholic. He's no nonsense, hard working, and he thinks other people are dim most of the time, but other than that he's not too bad.
Lastly is You Know Who. iamvoldemort is going to be rolling into town in the first few weeks of the game looking to set up a group of folks who one day will be known as the Death Eaters. In his spare time he enjoys cuddling with snakes and using the dark arts as plastic surgery. I still have to finish fleshing out his profile, but I would love anyone who would consider apping as one of the IC Death Eaters or any other sort of Purist. As things stand now the DE's as we know them don't quite exist just yet, but that will all change very soon!
