And...we're back.
It's time to either get this asylum going or shut it down. I'd prefer to keep it running.
I've been watching a lot of movies lately. Some sucked, some didn't. I'll list a few.
Mirrors with Kiefer Sutherland turned out to be a really good movie. I had my doubts about it when I grabbed it off the shelf, but I'm glad I rented it. As a matter of fact, I'll be owning this one. Granted it's hard to see Kiefer Sutherland as anyone other than Jack Bauer these days, but that really wasn't much of a distraction. This movie actually gave me nightmares, and that doesn't happen very often. Any movie that can freak me out in my sleep is worthy of owning, as far as I'm concerned. I highly recommend this one.
OK, don't laugh, but I loved Seance. No, it will never win any awards, but I liked it just the same. Or maybe it was just A.J. Lamas?
Lakeview Terrace disappointed me. I really like Samuel L. Jackson, and I thought the idea behind the movie was a really good one. Yet the movie somehow fell short. It's worth watching once, but I wouldn't bother owning it. Samuel L. Jackson didn't seem up to his usual standards in this one, I guess.
I finally watched The Happening. Yes, I know. I'm way behind the times on this one, but I had my doubts since so many people had said they didn't like it. However, I really enjoyed the movie. It wasn't one of those jump out and bite you type of horror movies. This one got to you mentally if you just asked yourself, "What if...???" But I think a lot of people don't like to think about movies after they've seen them, hence why they didn't care for this movie.
