hi there! this is melodie adams, a 15-year-old british actress with a bit of a love/hate relationship with acting. her entire family had a taste of fame before she was born, and she started out determined not to become famous, but her older sister dragged her to an audition in the states, where the young girl landed her first role in the sisterhood of the traveling pants. she refused to comply with everyone's requests until the third week of filming, where she just gave up her spitfire act. since then, she's loved acting on the silver screen and on stage, although she refuses to act in television shows. she's certainly not the typical child star. she likes being a goofball, making up impromptu dances while not filming and singing into hairbrushes. she's pretty good at imitating other peoples' voices, so she's been known to play a few practical jokes here and there. her first big role was lucy pevensie in the chronicles of narnia, and she's done a few other roles here and there since then.
