Hey, guys! This is [info]sofian-shaped, bringing you another poorly-executed storyline post.

This is Josie Hayes, former pageant girl, current MySpace musician and reclusive blogger-type. Her biography is unlocked in her journal, so you can take a look at that, if you like. Basically, Josie has been battling an anxiety disorder since she was fourteen, and while she can conduct herself well, and is very vocal online, she's a shy, panicky wreck half the time, in person.

Josie's little band, The Hanged Girls, is pretty well-known among MySpace music lovers, so if your character is the type to browse MySpace for little indie acts, they probably know who she is. Likewise, if your character follows the Weblog Awards, they may know of her. She was runner up for Best Teen Blog, this spring. Any characters who would have been working with child models from 1990-2000 could have worked with her at some point, too. From infancy through age ten, she was signed with New Faces. Models who have worked for Urban Outfitters or Free People may also know her. Her father owns the company.

Let's work something out!

This is Beth Letendre, a 27-year-old tattoo artist, based in LA, with the art of Tara McPherson. Beth also has a line of clothing produced by Stop Staring, and is in talks to develop a Miami Ink-esque reality show with Bravo.

The first thing you should know about Beth is that she's very full of herself, and she's an attention hog. Prior to completing her apprenticeship and becoming a "headlining" tattoo artist, she did freelance work, mostly on clients she met through her webcam site, which she ran until she was twenty-five.

Beth is also a lesbian, and part of Bravo's interest in her is her tendency to have explosive arguments with her girlfriend, and their on-again-off-again third counterpart. In spite of the fact that it doesn't seem to be working out for her, Beth is a firm believer in open relationships. She'll probably never change her opinion, because on top of loving attention, she also loves to be right.

I would love clients (both tattoo clients and male or female fans of her camshow), one or both of the girlfriends, a drinking buddy, models who have worn her Stop Staring line, what few friends can put up with her self-centeredness...anything!

So if I were to bring her back, would she be wanted? Same storylines, new ones, anything would be welcomed. For a refresher, she'd have the voice/lyrics of the lovely Regina Spektor, and her most prominent acting credit would of course be River Tam. Any other credits I'd probably decide if I want to keep. Sooo, hi?

Now I'm in need of a new daughter + ex-husband line. If the people who earlier expressed interest are still interested, please let me know. I'm trying to decide if I want to keep her around or remove her until I find someone who has time to commit to a storyline.

Thanks in advance!

For the past month I have debated bringing someone to this community. I figured you, the members, know who you would like to see more than I could ever infer. Would you prefer a male or female character? Does anyone need anything in particular? I enjoy playing obscure pbs but let me know while I select which one of my characters would best fit the community. Thank you in advance.

I just app'd this girl Pippa McKidd with the credits of Lady GaGa. She's twenty two and pretty relaxed about the whole fame thing. Her info is in her journal if you want specific details, I do not feel like writing them all here, sorry. Lines are excellent. She's in NYC. Other Pretty Young Things to hang out with? She's online at spit the pips. Thank you!

The Return of Fairy Kook [16 Feb 09\11:56am]

I guess I should do this first before either one of the pair introduce themselves.

Yes, Harvissy is back. I know. I can hear the groans! Yet this isn't the Harvissy you knew when they left. We're trying this again, because that's the beauty of roleplay. When the first story loses fascination, you try something else. You don't want to know how many times we've rewritten our Lestrange pair.

Anyway, so what's different about them? They aren't together. Haven't been. Best friends & mutual inspiration from N'awlins, yes, but that's where it stops. Issy's been on again-off again with the lead singer of Incubus (random band name I love because I figured no one would step in and play them, but if you want to steal them I will definitely change it!) and Harvey just broke up with the infamous Pauline about a month ago. Here's the kicker, Issy is currently 3 1/2 months pregnant but if anyone is familiar with her voice (Tori Amos), you might be able to guess where this is going. At this point, however, the only person who knows that is Harv.

For those of you who DON'T know Harvissy, Isabella Morgan is known only as Issy Morgan to the public eye. She's a former fetish model, the subject of inspiration behind Harvey's Black Orchid, Queen of Shadows, Delirium, the glorious Tree, so on and so forth. In her music, he's known as The Dream King, Sugar and the boy who wouldn't share his bike. She lives in New York's East Village, frequents a hole-in-the-wall bar when she's writing, has a 7-month-old black lab/collie mix named Stelmaria & has done a duet or two with Preston James Meyers of Machine ([info]preyers).

From there, I ask for lines and continuations of old ones reinvented? issy please

I'm in the middle of the process of setting up Damien Crowley who's PB is Marilyn Manson as well as his voice. His second musical claim is Nine Inch Nails. Goes hand-in-hand and hard to turn the blind eye to not see such. He was raised out of poverty so one can imagine that he takes what he does very seriously and can lead into outrages in the studio, on the stage, or in public. Primarily only with people that work with him, people outside of his circle that try to insult what he does may only get a laugh or a smirk. He's very widely known for being an asshole and having lawsuits against him through ex band members for excessive abuse. While he may seem like a very violent man he's really laid back and can be very romantic. He just expects concerts to go perfect and for his band members to not be in the band for the money and the fame but for the art.

I'm looking for any and all type of storylines.

now that he's in I'll post this...This is Malachi Scully, the last member of Machine (sounds like Tool). He's the bassist. I have an epicly long bio for him, but the short version is here.

But I'll shorten more: he's 36, gay, and had a seriously fucked up childhood. His parents were extremly religious and beleived sin was only foregiven by pain. He left home at 17, but stayed in lame ass (according to him) Nebraska because Georgie and Preston. Now that he lives in NYC it's like pulling teeth to get him back into NE and usually requires heavy medication. He cycles through depression and normalcy (for him) fairly quickly, but when he's at his lowest, he does sometimes hurt himself, so a heads up to everyone (any chat that he does or mentions it will carry warnings).

He needs everything. From friends to enemies to a possible lover (as long as they don't mind never hearing the L word, he won't say it not even to Preston and George who basically saved his life)....And anything you can think of. Also other musical collaborations so he doesn't go insane the next time Preston and George are on tour without him...

aim: ohmymalachi -- i'm totally random scene friendly.

Yo! This is George's player and a new muse has ALREADY hit me. You poor, sorry saps are stuck with it because the other faux-celeb comms stop at the age of 25. Lame-o. Anywho, I wanted to throw this idea at you guys to see if anyone's looking for a new character/know someone who's been itching for an excuse to join.

I'm working on this Helena Bonham Carter pb, who has the credits of Ann Wilson from Heart. That's songs like "Barracuda", "Crazy on You" & the only band to ever successfully cover a Zeppelin song. I have three characters I'd love to see picked up!

1) Her sister & partner in crime, she'd be the Nancy to her Ann. I'm thinking, pb-wise, Juliette Binoche or maybe Helen McCrory (haha Cissy & Bella!) but I'm sure the latter is a near impossibility. Anyone who could pass for her sister, really, I'm not picky but they were at the height of their popularity in 1978 and Janey, here, was only 17. That'd make them well over 45 now.

2) Her daughter and reason for quitting the rock and roll lifestyle. Anyone between the ages of 17 and 25, who'd obviously be involved somehow in the celebrity universe. Doesn't have to be through music, whatever tickles your muse. PBs I had in mind were Emma Watson or Emily Browning, but again..definitely not picky. >> TAKEN!

3) The ex-husband and father of her daughter. It was definitely a whirlwind sort of romance that happened back in the height of her fame, probably a high profile romance that ended in disaster. Now they'd be struggling on how to raise their daughter, in a long-since separated household and keeping her from the 'razzi hounds. Not a romantic line.
