Held Characters
As of April 19, 2008, Operation Redo is now closed.

Leave a comment below if you would like to put a character on hold. (If you don't already have an IJ, anonymous comments are fine.) The character you choose will be held for one week. If you change your mind about applying for the character, please let us now so we can take off the hold. In the same vein, if your hold is expiring, but you know you need more time to work on the application, please request an extension of your hold. We don't bite (hard). ;-) We will be glad to extend any un-contested holds for however long you may need. Contested holds are a special case: they don't happen very often (we've only had two to date), but the process is described below.

Note: Holds may be contested for exceptionally popular characters, and the mods will accept the best application, not necessarily the first submitted. If you contest a hold, you will need to submit your application by the date the hold expires. For example, if the applicant requests a hold on Monday, his/her hold will expire the following Monday. If the challenger contests the hold on Wednesday, his/her application must be submitted by the following Monday, as well. If not, the challenger's application will not be considered, and the applicant may then request extensions again, as if the hold had never been contested.

Oh, you want to play Frank, too? *♥'s* There's only one minor sticking point: we have a rule (#7) that you have to play your first character for three weeks before you can play a second. We can bend the rule a little, though, by allowing you to apply for both now, and then start playing the second on your three week anniversary. That's my extremely long-winded way of saying, "Yes, we'll put them both on hold." ;-)

If it makes a difference, plot-wise, we kind of need Frank more than Rabastan, except we also need Alice, too, to make the plot work. On the other hand, having Frank cast will probably help us land an Alice. *shrug* So, we'll leave it up to you whether you'd prefer to apply for Rabastan first and wait on playing Frank, or vice versa. They're both on hold until next Monday.

	I actually have a friend who wants to apply as Alice with me, but it may take us longer since we want to coordinate applications. xD I'll get Rabastan's application in today, most likely and my Alice friend and I will write up our apps and get them in asap. So, that's my version of saying, I'll app as Rabastan first and then wait on playing Frank. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	AWESOME! ^__^ I've submitted Rabastan's application already, so I can get to work on Frank's. xD That amuses me greatly. But I spell my name like the character which... is really really confusing. Especially when she's in the game. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

All righty, then! Let us know if you have any questions, all right? We have a little bit of backstory for Alice and Frank, but obviously, it's not extensive. And if it bugs either of you terribly, we can edit/delete as needed, since none of it is terribly vital. ;-)

LOL! Yeah, I can imagine. We do have Lily cast, but hopefully most of us will be able to keep the two of you separate. It be hardest for our Neville/James player, although she and our old Alice player had the same first name and age, so she's used to it. I'm sure we'll work something out.
