This one is huge. We're all adults here. We are all here to have fun. That being said, please just make sure you check with other players if your character does something that might affect someone else's character. Also, do not use ooc knowledge that you as a player find out in game unless your character finds out in game. Common sense.
2. Be friendly and considerate of other players.
Talk to your fellow players. Be friendly and considerate. Most of us will be open for any kind of plot here.
3. No godmodding. Should be self-explanatory. If your character needs to do something that involves someone else's character, talk to them first and make sure that it's okay.
4. No ooc drama.
Again, we're here to have fun! If you have an issue with another player, try to work it out amongst yourselves first. If you're not able to resolve things reasonably, then please address it with the mods. It's why we're here to help out. I promise we won't bite :) Also, we do ask that you try not to drag ooc concerns into game play itself (i.e., you have an issue with another player so your character in turn has an issue with that player's character. It's not fair to the character if that happens and not fair to the player, either).
5. Interact among fandoms.
Panfandom game means just that. We do expect characters to interact with other characters from different fandoms as well as within your own. Interacting with your own fandoms is definitely cool; but feel free to branch out and work with other players, as well. You might find a new fandom that you can enjoy, who knows!
6. ACTIVITY RULES
Activity will be defined as one log each month as well as at least one other piece of activity. We also require all players to participate some how in the monthly events that will be held once the game gets going. This shouldn't be too difficult. We prefer having at least one log each month to show development of your character more so than just interacting over a common message board. If you need to go on hiatus for any reason, please be sure to inform the mods oocly before the hiatus takes place.
We have 3 different communities. aotrp, which is where logs and threads will go. Third person style writing. Please include the following with each log:
Who: What: Where: When: Warnings: Status: OPEN, CLOSED, IN PROGRESS, ETC.
The second community, used for the journals all characters will be at aotcomm. The ooc community is at aotooc.
7. Keep lines from blurring and crossing, please.
We're here to write and to have fun. Sometimes, that might include picking up a character who's considered a "villain" in game. Please remember that the character does not equal the player and respect the player. If you are getting annoyed with their villain character being so bad, then they are probably doing a good job of portraying them! Just remember to keep the lines separated so that everyone can continue to have fun.
8. It's mentioned three places now, but just in case....
9. There will be monthly events to help you with activity!
There will be monthly events held within game to help characters with activity and to help fandoms interact with each other. This is, most of all, a panfandom game, meaning that we want characters from all fandoms to interact with each other. We will announce when these are coming and make sure we give enough details so all characters will have something to react to. We encourage you to write with new players and new fandoms, especially if you are playing an Attack on Titan canon character. This will help engage new players into this crazy universe and give them a better perspective of what we're talking about. Watch our ooc community for more details on these monthly events. At this time, we are asking that every player participate somehow in the events to count for activity as well.
