About:
Premise // Anywhere, Nowheresville.
You suddenly realize that you're not where you were, mere moments ago. Doesn't matter where you came from, all you can see is the line of buildings in front of you. They're generic, could be from New York, New York or Beijing, China. You turn and find yourself in front of a large glass building. The nondescript people inside are all wearing black, black suits, black shirts, black ties. All they say?

Welcome to Anywhere.

Anywhere is anywhere you want it to be, and Nowhere at all. The buildings extend for a few miles, slowly giving way to a dark, deep, and -if the signposts posted around it are to be believed- very dangerous forest. The city of Anywhere is completely comfortable, though, all the nondescript buildings are well-stocked with stores, food, libraries, arcades, anything your heart could desire. Except a way out. Hell, there's even a park.

When you arrive in Anywhere, you are given a laptop, which, no matter what you put in, only takes you to one website. It seems to be some sort of journaling mechanism, or at least, that's what the people at the glass building told you. At least the laptop has video capabilities. You can post to your personal journal, and view all the journals of the other people who have suddenly appeared here. It's got all the regular commodities, public, private, hackable, you know this, you had to sit through the whole long spiel when you showed up here. They wouldn't let you leave unless you posted.

Although they're much, much less helpful when it comes to the weird things that happen here. Ask them about any of it and you'll just get a blank stare, at best. At worst, they'll ask you if you've forgotten how to use your laptop. And weird things do happen here, no matter what they do or do not say. Not only that, but you think you might have caught glimpses of yourself running up and down the stairs in one of the apartment buildings.

You'd better make the best of it, though. After all, it's not like anything is going to let you leave any time soon.
