Username Purge

I didn't want to lump this in with the last post, but we are starting a username purge immediately. This is partially to help with site load as we want to purge unused data from the system. We are also doing it because of the number of requests we have gotten. Keep an eye out for e-mails from us if your account is caught up in this so you can save it.

If you do not un-delete your account within two weeks and it is purged, your data will be gone forever!

  i'll definitely keep this in mind for the journals i have that i don't want. squeaky is there some way to remove emails from the purged journals? i think that would definitely make a lot of us happy who don't want the journals next owner to have our email along with the possible previous owners email, you know?

    your email isn't on the journal, but the journal forever stays on your list of journals registered to that email. when you make a purged journal you're the only email on that journal, but the ex_843w9834 is on the previous owner, and since it's purged there is no way to get that password. all it does is clutter your list of journals registered to an email, and make you confused which are active and which are not
