Username Purge (an update)

This is going to take probable 3-4 weeks to get all of the inactive accounts as there are a lot of them and I don't want to kill the servers doing this.

As always you can see what usernames are available here.

  Squeaky, I've come across something odd.
  
  I can't log into one of my journals; it says the password is wrong. When I request the password and get the e-mail, regardless if I type it in manually or copy/paste it tells me that it's wrong. How can the password be wrong if it's the one it e-mailed me? (Yes, I double checked I spelt the username right)
  
  The other problem is that a friend requested all usernames linked to his e-mail address. It gave him a list, but a few of them listed were deleted and purged several years ago. Why is it still attached to the email when it should have been deleted from the server?

    I was just about to post about this very same problem. I couldn't login in to one of my accounts either. And I was just about to ask about the idea of getting purged accounts not linked to your email address anymore.

      I just tried it again, and it is still insisting that my password is wrong. I even got a friend to try logging in for me, but to no avail.
      
      I'd like this issue to be acknowledged and resolved =/
