from someone who lost EVERYTHING even after archiving when gj tanked, you seriously learn to back things up - even stuff from other people's journals - in email or somewhere secure that you know is gonna be there. i have stuff from old journals i haven't saved yet but 14 days is ample time even for someone busy to get in there and get it changed to active.
and if you no longer have the email you registered it to or gave a fake email, bummer. although this is going to cause a feeding frenzy when the purge happens and all the journals are gonna be swooped up in a day.
