Firefox and the rich text editor
Mozilla recently release a security update to 2.0 version of firefox. This version, 2.0.0.17, causes issues with our Rich Text Editor and therefore breaks the update page. Until we can come up with a resolution for this, either upgrade firefox to 2.5 or 3.0, or use a different browser. You can also use the mobile update page at http://www.insanejournal.com/mobile/pos t.bml
They can also use the HTML editor... that's probably a little more convenient than the mobile posting page.
Oh well, I'll live with it for now. ^_^
Also; is the icon browser something to do with the LJ source code as it's been missing for a while now, along with Rich Text?

I'm not sure if you are able to help on this matter, and I am well aware it has little to do with Firefox, but I'd like to report a problem that has been plaguing a role-play community here on LJ as well as several role-play character journals.
Posts are begin spammed with anonymous, sexually inappropriate comments (I don't have a source IP address for you at the moment, but I will if/when it happens again). It started about a week ago, and the number of comments has been increasing to now about 2 a day. This is highly upsetting as well as offensive, and although anonymous posting has been turned off these effected journals, I was wondering if this is a wider problem and if there is anything you can do about it?
Thanks for your time,
Jonathan
