Agreed. I picked dramatic 'cause I think it sets the site apart a little better, but either of the sidebar options is good. Drop-downs can be a problem for some people to navigate (if they have a mouse that jumps around, which I did for a while, for example), and may not be intuitively obvious to "newcomers".
