I see that we have a bunch of new users and a lot of people checking us out. I do welcome all of you. I want to point out to you, that although this site is based in the LiveJournal engine, we are not affiliated or associated with LiveJournal or Six Apart in any way. We are an independently run site.

We understand why a lot of you are coming over here, and we do not believe in censorship beyond the letter of the law. We will not remove any content from the site unless we receive an official DMCA take down notice or are contacted by an official law enforcement or other legal agency.

That said, we welcome all of you and if you have any issues, please feel free to visit our support area.

    I bought a permanent account and extra icons yesterday just to support you for your grown up, non-drama attitude towards this. If my fandom does decide to leave LiveJournal which I admit, I kind of hope they do, I'll be happy to see it migrate here.

    It's not about fandom, it's about transparency and good business and not having a chilling effect on freedom of expression. Yay you.

    And hey, I don't even LIKE Harry Potter. ;)

    You really are the best. I am actually having fun again, something that I haven't been able to have elsewhere for a few months. My flist is settling in, more people are moving it's really great.

    You are so responsive, and you are a presence, thank you so much for that. It makes me feel better that if something does come up, a dialogue can happen, which sadly, doesn't seem to happen elsewhere.

    But speaking of the support area - I wanted to ask something that wasn't answered by the FAQ and instead of the support page, I've been getting this message since the morning (I'm in Europe):

    I don't know if you are aware of it and I'm sorry if it doesn't belong here, but I didn't know where to submit a question about the submitting-support-questions page not working for me *sheepish grin*

    Thank you, thank you!! I am learning my way around here, poking in the dungeons and tickling the patients. Also an LJ refeugee, I thank you from the soles of my feet for the warm welcome. I plan to purchase a permanent account within the next few days, as a show of good faith.

    So very refreshing to see the bosses ready and willing to answer questions and concerns, and to extend greetings. I feel as though I've come home.
