I just want every one to know that I have listened to the feedback, and there seems to be a majority consensus among the community on not auctioning abandoned asylums.
In addition any future purges will not include accounts with significant content (we are not going to reveal what makes significant content as spammers will exploit that). As there is a lot of value being placed upon historical content (way more than we realized).
The current purge that is happening (journals will start purging on 3/30) is going to free enough room on the servers to give us room for some time as over 99% of the accounts being purged are spam.
Once the purge is complete we are going to investigate the impact of removing account codes from the site and hope to be able to do that soon afterwards.
