Okay everyone, the site move is progressing well. I am actually starting to move certain parts of the site over to the new servers already. I have one issue left to resolve, it seems that the upgrade is causing an incompatibility with certain S1 style layouts.
We've run into this into the past, but the site was a lot smaller back then so I was able to delete the S1 customizations without much issue. But now that we're larger that isn't an option. I expect to have this piece resolved before the end of the weekend and I am going to target the full move of the site for early next week.
When we move the site we will put up a placeholder page to let everyone know what is going on and we will try to keep you all updated via the existing twitter and facebook accounts that InsaneJournal uses.
