The donation drive is over and you all did AWESOME! Way beyond what I thought it would do.

Between donations and what we got from selling permanently insane accounts and insane userpics, you all raised $1379.51.

And I am going to round that number up to $1500 out of my own pocket. This is fantastic!

Now due to the logistics of this, I am not going to be accepting donations directly anymore, but you can still donate directly to them. The info is posted here.

UPDATE: I just remembered that my day job will match donations. So I am going to try to get them to go along with this one. I will post here if they do and I think they will. This means that you guys have actually raised $3000!!!!

We had a short outage tonight, thanks to a couple of loyal volunteers alerting me to it being down. I found the problem was that we ran out of memory on all of our webservers. It seems that the new code uses more memory and we hit a really busy peak this evening.

I have made a change to the webservers that should let them keep chugging along and everything should be responsive for the rest of the night.
