InsaneJournal Announcements

Sometime soon (hopefully today if I can work all the bugs out) we are going to be patching in a major change to the way URLs work here on InsaneJournal. This is to address a browser security flaw that might allow your cookies to be stolen. All of the old URLs will redirect you to where you need to be, so you need not worry about that.

All users will now have personalized domain names.

This means that your journal will now be at http://YOURUSERNAME.insanejournal.com/

If your username starts with a "_" your journal will be at http://patients.insanejournal.com/YOURUSERNAME.

All asylums will be at http://asylums.insanejournal.com/ASYLUMNAME

All syndicated feeds will be at http://feeds.insanejournal.com/FEEDNAME

We will make a post as soon as we patch this new code into the main website.
