Guys thank you all so much for donating to H3 and for sending me money to donate on your behalf. I'll be making a donation of $275 as soon as the money comes to me from Venmo and Cash, also you guys donated $155 directly to them. Hey guys!
Over on our Facebook Page I made a post about how I am trying to raise money for a local charity here in South Florida where InsaneJournal is based. I'm doing this as part of my birthday (4/20) that is coming up really soon.
So far we have raised $430 out of my $1000 goal. I'd love to see if we can get some help from those of you who may not have seen that post.
So here is what I am asking. I am looking for people to donate to Hospitality Helping Hands (H3). This is a new charity that was just setup to help feed displaced hospitality workers during the extended shutdown. Here in South Florida we have a large tourism industry that has been severely impacted by the COVID-19 shutdown. Many people are out of work very suddenly and don't have savings or a way to feed their families. To address this a local restauranteur has started opening his resturuaunts with the sole goal of providing free meals to the community. Many people here are chipping in.
