i think i'm fine with moving to aws. it seems like it would be more reliable and less of a headache for you. plus aws is pretty pervasive. they host a lot of different websites already.

my main concern would be about pricing. i don't know how much aws costs, but would that affect how much we pay on our end? would it free up resources to work on the site's code at all?
