| Angel fandom help needed! |

The Angel article on Fan History Wiki needs your help! The article is supposed to give a history of the fandom. At the moment, it isn't doing that very well. It only has very basic information. It needs more. Whatever information you can add, from a date added on the timeline to a fandom specific term to how big a fansite or community is, that would be really great!
Fan History also has a directory of Angel fans with 3,829 articles. The articles about members of the fandom are a neat way to promote yourself, people in the fandom you love and as a way of warning people away from wankers and other fandom trouble makers! They also help give an interesting picture of the fandom's history by showing which fandoms Angel fans came from, what fandoms they joined after leaving the Angel fandom, who the big name fans are, etc. |

The a.k.a. ANGEL Fan Festival!
To celebrate 1.) the opening of Angel Yay! and 2.) the 10th anniversary of the classic BtVS episodes Surprise and Innocence (First aired 01/19/1998 and 01/20/1998 respectively), in which we initially met Angelus, I am holding a fanfic and art celebration!
The purpose of this festival is to explore and honor the many and varied facets of the original vampire with a soul -- from lazy partyboy Liam to Artiste D'Evil Angelus and all the various incarnations of ensouled Angel in between. There's room for every genre here: romance, darkfic, smut of all flavors. Character studies and action-adventure. Horror, comedy, historical fic. It's all there in Angel's story. As long as Angel, Liam, Angelus, or some combination thereof are the center character(s) in the fic, anything goes!

Why?
Because after all the censorship issues, fandom needs to bring back the p0rn!

Someone made an excellent point that during the mass exodus, people are waiting for someone to start posting in our new communities. SO... I figured I would start, and give some very basic guidelines so we can start sharing the Angel Fun. :)
The purpose of this community should be readily apparent: please post any and every fan work with Angel, Angelus, or Liam as the central character. For now, there are no rules except DON'T post other's work as your own (although enthusiastic recs are welcome), and PLEASE clearly label your fics as to rating, content, and pairing.
As long as Angel's the star, anything goes. Fanart, icons, vids, fic of any length, genre or rating. At some point, we can talk about ficathons, challenges and the like.
Any questions, comments or vague misgivings can be posted here.
Play nice.
