About: | This community is dedicated for posting, reading, and discussing Angel fanfiction. Discussion about David Boreanaz and all things related are welcome aswell :P*You must be a member to post your fic’s/manips etc..... To do this, first get your own Livejournal account, then click the link above that says "join this community." If you use the + button you may find you cannot post. *when posting fanfic, you must place the body of the story behind an lj-cut. If you don’t know how to do this....ask...I’ll be happy to help >>> finvampire :P *. If your story has strong/adult content in it (for example: violence, bloodplay, strong language, sexual content, etc), you have to inform about it at your fanfiction summary. EVERYTHING considered as adult, including pictures/icons have to be behind an LJ cut aswell. * Post ONLY your own stories – plagiarism is forbidden!!! *You have to be at least 18 years of age to read adult material! Flame - We don't accept "Flame" posts here. so..if you don't have anything constructive to say about the fics, then don't say anything. In other words..Posts with only negative comments and not any "real" point..will be removed! we do anyhow accept the constructive critisism. * If you are posting large pics – please use an LJ cut. * This community is for ANGEL fiction – so if you post a story- it has to have Angel as one of the main characters. All posts without Angel will be deleted. Don’t disable comments on fics; for I can’t add them in memories.that way it is easier for people to find them...it only serves yourself ;) (if you don’t want people to find them – your free to disable them) Here's some guidelines/rules for posting fic's/Stories: ************************************************* COMPLETE HEADING: At a minimum, you must include these 9 elements in your story header >>> Title: Name of the story Author: writer of the story Fandom: For example.. AtS or BtVS Pairing(s): character/characters in story Rating: what level rating is the story Summary: Little about the plot.. Disclaimer: If some/all characters are not your own.. Genre: what kind of story..for example Humor, angst etc... Warnings: for example slash,violence..etc.. VOLUNTERY: A/N (Authors note): If you wanna say something about your fic Feedback: If you want to know what people think about your fic [add for example your e-mail for the feedback] There are certain elements in some stories that readers might (or might not) find offensive or disturbing. in some cases, you may want to provide warnings. Here are a few things that could usually use a warning: .SLASH: Male/male sexual situations/pairings .FEMSLASH: Female/Female sexual situations/pairings ·BDSM: Covers bondage/discipline, dominance/submission, sadism/masochism and generally implies that sex is consensual, unless you add a non-consensual warning. ·Graphic Violence: For very intense, explicit, and/or disturbing. ·Character Death: If your going to "off" some of the characters - you might want to warn about it first. xD .Het: Love between man and a woman ·Rape: Consummated sex that is fully against one character's will. ·Non-Consensual Sexual Situations: If it's not rape but it is not clear that both characters want it, this is the warning to use. It also applies to rape situations cut short/uncompleted. ·Incest: Use if the characters are closely related, such as father/son or brother/brother. If they're cousins or less, it's up to you. GENRES AND CATEGORYS: Canon/Fanon: .Canon is a story which is based on a facts in original story. Fanon in other hand is a story where author has put on some bits and pieces himself/herself (pieces which wasnt in original story..for example AtS Lemon/Lime: Lemon is a story which contains explicit sexual content(rating NC-17 in these without exeption).and lime contains softer sexual content. IC/OOC: IC is "In Character" it means that author will preserve the original characteristics in the character/characters.OOC is "Out Of Character", for example non-brooding Angel would be definitely an OOC character. Crossover: A story where two different worlds has been mixed by the author, for example AtS & Bones Challenge: When someone challenges you to do a story based on their ideas etc... Darkfic: Characters or subjects are darker than in original story more about genres and categorys: AU - Alternative Universe PWP - Plot? What Plot? when story doesnt have specific plot.. Angst - dark, scary and horror stuff Fluff - romantic and cute Mary Sue - authors own character which he/she has created, usually with backgrounds and all OMC/OFC - Original Male/Female Character, generally same as above (mary sue) Smut - very graphic sexual behavior (even porn) NCS, Non-con - Non-consentual, where someone is forced to do something against her/his will.. WIP - Work in Progress POV - point of view Action/Adventure - well..just action and adventure Humor - just humor Romance - Love Mystery/Fantasy/Drama - well..mystery fantasy and drama.. General – for everyone Ficlet - a short, one-chapter fanfiction. Drabble - A short piece of writing (usually fanfiction but sometimes original), usually no more than a 1000 words (although length is debatable) and often not bearing any real direction or plot. Drabbles are more often used to make a point about the characters or events involved, or to provide an introspection or specific point of view. Other General Information for Submissions: * Multiple or changing pairings: If your series begins with one pairing then switches to or includes other pairings, tell us with the first submission. * Multiple or changing ratings: If your series begins with one rating but will change in future chapters - such as if you know it's going to be NC17 later in the story - call it NC17 for the series. * Multi-Chapter/part Stories: When you submit a story, make it clear whether you are submitting a multi-chapter fic (which should be number as 1 of 5, 2 of 5, etc.) or a story related to a series of larger pieces. For this 2nd example, If you write a fic and call it, "Released," then write a sequel called "Embraced," who's to know that the two have anything to do with one another? Even if you include a note in your header, your readers might have difficulty finding the multiple parts (or reading them in the correct order). We suggest you name your fic using a two-part title if you are writing a sequel (or just continuing it) in the future. By calling the series "Flowery Verbs," both stories will be in the alphabetical listing together as "Flowery Verbs: Released" followed by "Flowery Verbs: Embraced." Not alphabetical, but rather logical. Then that simple note in the summary is enough for the readers to understand what's going on. Ratings: G (General Audiences)-Some snippets of language may go beyond polite conversation but they are common everyday expressions. No stronger words are present in G-rated films. The violence is at a minimum. Nudity and sex scenes are not present, nor is there any drug use content. PG (Parental Guidance Suggested)-There may be some profanity in these films. There may be some violence or brief nudity. However, these elements are not considered so intense as to require that parents be strongly cautioned beyond the suggestion of parental guidance. There is no drug use content in a PG-rated film. PG-13 (Parents Strongly Cautioned)-A PG-13 film is one which, in the view of the Rating Board, leaps beyond the boundaries of the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, or other contents, but does not quite fit within the restricted R category. Any drug use content will initially require at least a PG-13 rating. If nudity is sexually oriented, the film will generally not be found in the PG-13 category. If violence is too rough or persistent, the film goes into the R (restricted) rating. A film’s single use of one of the harsher sexually derived words, though only as an expletive, shall initially require the Rating Board to issue that film at least a PG-13 rating. More than one such expletive must lead the Rating Board to issue a film an R rating, as must even one of these words used in a sexual context. R (Restricted, under 17 not admitted without a parent)- An R-rated film may include strong language, violence, nudity, drug abuse, other elements, or a combination of the above, so parents are counseled in advance to take this advisory rating very seriously. NC-17 The equivalent of the old 'X' rating. Use for graphic/explicit sex scenes. SLASH: Male/male sexual situations/pairings FEMSLASH: Female/Female sexual situations/pairings ******************************************** If your not comfortable with same sex situations..please feel free to leave!!!! ******************************************** | ||||||||||
