INFORMATION [04 Nov 2009|07:05pm] Welcome to andsoisyourface , an icon community that mostly caters for rpg icons. Every now and then I'll make some fancier ones and post them, but mostly, they're plain and simple with a lot of expressions! All the icons in this community are made by karou , and membership is open to everybody. I only have a few simple rules, so please try to abide by them (: If you are new to this, I've expanded upon each of the rules. I'm not trying to be condescending or anything, just thorough! 1. Do not hotlink icons i.e., do not click on an icon, find out its URL, and use that URL directly. instead, please right-click the icons you like and save them to your computer, then upload them somewhere else. I recommend photobucket. if you use my links, it uses my bandwidth, and my icons won't show up. since I have a paid account on photobucket, I'd really appreciate it if you host any icons you take yourself. 2. Do not alter icons, redistribute them elsewhere, or pretend that you made them yourself Even though the icons are mostly plain bases, they do take a lot of work. I never simply crop - I always prep my icons thoroughly, and colour them with adjustment layers on photoshop to make sure they look their best. A lot of work goes into them, so please don't edit them yourself or post them somewhere else or say that you made them. 3. Please credit icons if used, especially on any journal based game. You can either credit the community, credit me, or credit both, I don't mind. Just so long as you do credit! If you cannot do that, then just let people know where they can find icons should they ask you (: I love comments, too, so don't be shy! Say something.
