FFXII: Fran's radishes with chive butter
. parsley leaves, freshly picked, eighteen in total
. butter, three tablespoons worth
. cream cheese, softened, one tablespoon worth
. chives, minced, one and one-half tablespoons worth
. zest of lemon, freshly grated, one pinch worth
. tabasco sauce, to taste
. salt, to taste
Stir well together the butter, cream cheese, chives, zest, tabasco, and salt in a small bowl, using a fork.
Half each radish lengthwise. Arrange on a platter, halved-side-up.
Place a small mound of chive butter on top of each radish half, then top with a parsley leaf. Or, if you prefer, place the parsley leaf directly on the radish and then top with chive butter. They are eaten either way.
Chill and cover until ready to serve, if need be.
