Rabastan sighed in frustration as Severus started his rant, "How the fuck should I know, Snape? I checked every room upstairs thoroughly, I might add, and then made short work of Marchwood and his wife. And no, I hadn't heard anything until you showed up just now."
He inwardly grimaced at what must have been a failure on Snape's part. Whipping his wand out, he angrily cast the homenum revelio charm, which he supposed would be their only hope of finding the missing child now. When the results came back negative for any life forms being in the house, Rabastan whirled on Snape fully wanting to hex him. "Do you have any bright ideas now, Snape?"
Not really waiting for an answer, he continued in a more measured tone, "I cast an anti-apparition jinx on the whole fucking property so unless our kid got out by portkey or some other means, I'd presume he was never here. There must have been a flaw in our intel somewhere."
