Alecto thought the question was a fair one. Why her? She wasn't sure she could answer that question. She had spotted Spencer at the Great Feast. She had stared, totally fixated, for a long, long time. She felt a connection and nearly overwhelming attraction. But why? She still needed some time and experience to truly answer that.
Instead of answering, she ignored the question.
When Spencer spun out of her grasp, Alecto moved away as if nothing unusual was happening. She moved to her desk chair and sat. She straightened a few papers. "You will report to me after class on Friday," Professor Carrow said affecting her full professor persona; playing at a professionalism she did not posses. "Professor Snape has encouraged each professor to take on a student assistant. Someone who has great promise or one that needs guidance."
"For you, it is far more the former but the latter can not be ignored," she said with a smirk.
