Hermione frowned, “bringing my cat into this Parkinson? How childish, I just don’t see the point in arguing with you, you have a view that’s been brainwashed into you for years by your family and your peers. Merlin forgive if you thought for yourself.”
Confused, Hermione had no idea what Pansy was talking about, get rid of the boys and not have to deal with them? Ron and Harry were a bit rough around the edges but they were her best friends, none the less. “You mean an all girls dance?”
“No, I don’t study all the time, I do think its really important to be sure I do my best in all my subjects,” she said with a tired tone to her voice, she was so sick of everyone giving her a hard time for working hard.
“I don’t mean that, I just mean,” Hermione’s cheeks flushed again, so what if she had filled out lately? “Its just natural is all.”
Now Hermione was really confused, Pansy seem to be paying her a compliment. “The better?” she squirmed, confused. Pansy was sort of looking like the devil with the look on her face of impish mischief, not the normal malice she held for Hermione. It unnerved her. “No one else seems to have noticed.”
Hermione blinked, even more confused. What was going on here? She regained her composure and nodded, “fine, tomorrow, we can come back with some fresh ideas.”
