Alecto entered through the portal that was covered by the portrait of an evil looking wizard that had a long snake curled at his feet. His eye had started to swell and a cut marred the corner of his mouth. A couple knuckles on his right hand were split and there was a bit of blood.
His tie was askew, one tail of his shirt hung outside his slacks. His shoes were scuffed and there was dirt on the right shoulder of his cloak and the front of his white dress shirt. His scarf was nowhere to be seen.
The other boy had ended up far worse…
Storming inside, he slammed the door behind him. Looking around, he glared at his housemates. He practically dared them to say something. No one took up his challenge, however.
Starting for the stairs that lead to the boys dormitory, he stewed with great anger and planned to find his sister as soon as he was cleaned up. Their fifth year had been nothing but horrible for Amycus and Alecto was part of the problem… |
