Megan had left work with some coworkers, working on a Witch Weekly left you with many female co-workers to hang out with and they tried to hang out at least once a week. Not everyone would make it but at least the group go out now and then. Megan was excited to go out to the pub, drinks and pub food was always nice. They were at the Leaky Cauldron this evening all crowded around a table. Megan had just received her food and was nursing her third drink of the evening. Her drink was definitely not as strong as fire whiskey but it wasn't as light as butterbeer. It was a drink that the gals at the table had gotten a few rounds of and honestly Megan was sure feeling the effects, she was tipsy to say the least. The girls were all having some fun laughing and joking, the even thought it was a wonderful idea to scout out fellas for the single girls in the crowd, unfortunately for Megan she was one of them. Megan was perhaps one of the youngest girls on the writing staff so she was one of the few that were single and not married. As she munched on her fries she shook her head. "No way, I am not going over there." Megan waved her hand looking at her co-workers like they were nuts.
As she sipped at her drink more she looked up as they pointed to a different guy. Well this guy looked almost broody and a little bit of a bad boy, or at least he had the feel of one. She had to admit he was pretty good looking, but he would probably turn her down. He didn't seem the type to want anything to do with her, but when had that ever stopped her? When they told her to go over and talk to them she groaned. "Fine," she acted like it was such a chore but she loved meeting knew people and had no issues with just walking up to the guy. Okay well walking was a little questionable at the moment.
With only a slight stumble as to get her footing and the head-rush to disappear she walked over to the guy quite normal. She sat down on the stool next to the guy, she smiled that usual Megan Jones smile that was cheerful and bright. She rested her elbow on the counter and her head rested on her hand. "Hello there how are you this evening?" She sighed softly and changed position letting her fingers drum on the counter. "My friends put me up to this they are all drunk and thought it would be a grand idea to make me come chat you up. Honestly I don't mind meeting knew people but I will leave you alone if you wish." Megan hoped he didn't say shove off but she honestly wouldn't be too surprised. "I am Megan by the way." She held out her hand that had nails finished in bright colours and fun patterns. Megan was perky but she really hoped no overbearing.
