IOP OOC

Members of IOP, we regret to inform you that our game is taking a little hiatus.

As most of you have seen firsthand, the game got off to a slow start. With most of our players and our mod team battling hectic schedules and the dilemmas of real life - our vote for a break was unanimous. We apologize to everyone who has invested their time, characters, and plot, but we promise it will not be in vain.

A date to reopen is currently in discussion (because we will be returning!), and we hope to be back in action come May. This means that if you want to reserve the spot you have already applied for, made journals for, and written for then let the mod staff know - we will be happy to hold your place. All characters can be transferred over with the hope that they will become vital members of our Marauder community. (We will also add you to a contact list that will receive an alert when the time to return is growing near.)

All in all, we have been so grateful for those who have tried to help us push this game, and I can honestly say that I love each and every one of the characters I have seen. The mod team would love to see them all return, but wishes only the best of luck and playing to those who will not.

We hope to be seeing everyone soon!

Welcome to Hogwarts!

This is your Friendly Chase Speaking.

So you all know, and can respond to accordingly if you so desire, Chase has been an active little bugger over the summer. He has created a monster out of debris from under the bed to steal the socks (and various other things) from drawers of students in Hogwarts.

And this monster is a sneaky little bitch. It can go invisible. It can hoard things in its belly. And it can use a diversion tactic that involves EXPLODING to get away.

So if you happen to notice a sock or two is missing, you might want to check your trunks, drawers, beds--because Chester the Sock Monster is coming for you.

And the sting of that explosion is enough to enrage even the kindest of spirits.

Hi guys! It's Cassie again with my second character, Emily Lewis. She's a fifth year Hufflepuff, and at times can be, to put it quite frankly, a bit of a brat. She was a very spoilt child and unfortunately that kind of translated into being bossy, entitled and bratty. She's definitely improved in that respect since she first came to Hogwarts, but she'll still rise to any sort of bait with ease and is quite likely to jump into a fight. All that being said, however, she's a very loyal friend and expect to be defended to the end if you are.

She's a Hufflepuff Chaser and an avid fan of the Kenmare Kestrels, part of Art Club, Charms Club and Duelling Club and is the cousin of Dorcas Meadowes. Essentially, she needs every sort of plot! Friends, enemies (since she will UNDOUBTEDLY rub quite a few people the wrong way), acquaintances, whatever! Also, I really think some sort of romance plot would be hilarious because Em would FLAIL in the most epic way. She would have no clue what to do if a guy liked her.

Edit: Also, just so everyone knows, I'll be without internet for a couple of days (YAY MUSIC CAMP). I promise I'm not ignoring anyone!

I'm back! My computer is fixed, and none of my stuff got deleted when it got rebooted so I still have all my other apps I have to finish! Anyway, I will be updating Rita as soon as I get done with classes this afternoon. I have a new AIM and it's vforsara. So if you want to plot with Rita you can reach me there.

Hello, this is Lo with my second character! This is Benjy Fenwick, 7th year Ravenclaw and joiner of far too many clubs. Including the may-or-may-not exist Pirate Club. He's usually rather easy going, except when anyone's putting someone down, especially over their blood status. May have something to do with his father being a muggleborn and his mother being a squib. He's a total geek that loves pirates, science fiction, fantasy, dinosaurs, and comic books. Benjy's best friend is somehow Gilderoy Lockhart, but it makes a weird sort of sense.

Benjy does have a serious side, and he fully intends to get into the healing program as soon as he finishes school, because he seriously does want to help people.

Icon is simply because I enjoy that his face is apparently made out of rubber.

Hey guys! I wanted to let you all know I'm going on a trip to Wisconsin to visit my BFF. I'm sure I'll still have internet, but I'll be around a little more sparsely I'm sure. However, still free to contact me via e-mail and I'll still be able to get on AIM every now and then and keep up with the game. So this is a partial hiatus.

Sorry spam the OOC, page, guys. I meant to post this the other day but got caught up studying. It's exam time for me, so I'm going to be running around, panicking, and generally acting like I've lost my mind and therefore I won't be around much this week. Probably no AIM, although you can always reach me by email.

So, I haven't really been around this week and it'll be a few more days until I'm back. My computer died, the replacement I have is the slowest thing ever, and school has been insane. It's spring break this week, and as soon as I get my computer back, I should be able to catch up.

So, I wasn't sure this would come up or not, but Circe's post brought it to my attention ♥

When we made the timetable for classes for this game, I went ahead and made it for all years, rather than just 5-7, because I'm a dork I had the time and wanted to make it work for the professors as well. The 5 classes a day is patterned off schools like Eton and worked without giving us Saturday classes, or all the professors timeturners. However, since I have complete schedules, I can tell you when things like the greenhouses are free!
