[Rikki had left a note for Peter and Aunt May in case she ended up taking longer than expected at Stark Tower, subsequently, longer to get home than it took for either or both of them to get home, so that they wouldn't worry. After having gotten off the phone with Bruce — bless Aunt May's land line — she'd waited, sitting out on the roof outside Peter's window and watched for the car, heading down and tucking her spare key into her bag and taking the ride with Happy back to Stark Tower.
She signed out the guest badge, making a conscious effort from pointing out how ridiculous it all felt, because this Tony wasn't hers and it made sense to follow whatever this Tony's protocol for entry was. Then, she waited for Bruce to come down, exploring the lobby and wondering if her Tony had the same set up, somewhere in some universe.]
