OH DEAR (tag: Susan)
After sharing a drink with the mortal woman, River Song, Death decided to take a stroll around the area to get a better feel of where he would be spending his vacation. This was going to be a vacation. He could hardly be accused of shirking his duties since he had been brought here without his consent. He should probably be a bit more worried about that, but that would come later. Right now, he needed to find a restaurant that sold a good curry. If this was going to be his vacation, he was going to enjoy it.
Since there was still the question as to whether or not they could leave if they so desired, he had devised a plan. He had sent Death of Rats to the edge of the resort to try to escape. Since Death of Rats shared the same abilities as Death himself, if one could leave, then so could the other. He just had to wait for his companion to report back.
While waiting, he saw no reason to just sit around talking to Binky. His horse was not the greatest conversationalist to begin with and at the moment, Binky was only concerned with where his next apple was going to come from. It was a bit silly, really. Binky did not really need to eat. Neither did he. But sometimes it was entertaining to just try some of the various foods. Not to mention a good way to interact with the mortals.
As Death explored the resort, he found it to have everything a mortal could need. It reminded him of Ankh-Morpork. Without the pollution or filth. He was going to enjoy being here.
As he looked around, his eyes fell on something familiar. Someone, rather. His granddaughter. He probably should not be that surprised that she was here as well. Though he did wonder who was collecting to souls in his absence. If she had been brought here as he had, he doubted she would be very happy.
OH DEAR. Maybe he could get away before she saw him.
