Arriving at the Ministry-approved apparition point with a loud 'pop', Tamsin set her daughter down on the ground and took her hand, peering around the corner of the drab grey building to check for the absence of Muggles who had heard before going out into the busy street.

...Busy? Now hang on a flipping minute. The whole point of this street being the site for the apparition point was that it was *supposed* to be quiet. Yet there were at least a hundred people milling around on the estate, dressed up tables all the way down the road, children in fancy dress... and was that a TV screen she saw hanging out of someone's window?

The brunette frowned as Millie pulled at her hand, wondering why her Mum wasn't going anywhere yet. Tamsin was on alert, because this was a new situation. And new situations were not always good.
