The trial of Arturo Dimitrov was held on the 28th of November, at the Ministry, where both the Dimitrov and Moonbeam families were present. Aurors escorted in both sides, though more forces came with the Muggle Moonbeam's who seemed rather lost and out of place at the Ministry of Magic.
The trial was fairly short. Dimitrov admitted his guilt, and pleaded that he was only doing it for the safety of his family. The Minister said Arturo will be sentenced to fifteen years in Azkaban. The Moonbeam and Dimitrov were unavailable for comment. The eldest daughter of the Moonbeam family, a witch, was permitted to go back to Hogwarts after the trial.
This morning at Hogsmeade, a parade for the rights of Magical Creatures went on today. it sort of dissipated into a "Anti-Knights" movement toward the end, but it was very well-recieved.
The parade was hosted by Lucy Weasley, daughter of the Ministry's Percy Weasley and niece to Harry Potter himself. A bright, vivacious girl with the Weasley trademark of red hair, was seen rallying up the paraders excitably. After the parade, no one was able to find Miss Weasley or any of her cousins for comment, however, we did catch a word with Hermione Weasley, Lucy Weasleys aunt, Ministry Employee, and one of Harry Potter's closest friends.
"Lucy is brilliant, really," Hermione Weasley said, seeming a little hurried after the parade, claiming she needed to get back to her work and family. "She brings up things that we all need to pay more attention to. The rights of Magical Creatures is something that has been debated for a long time. The Knights are definitely a problem. She's getting people notified and excited for fighting back."
