Hestia was late in arriving to the room after Mory and Gideon followed Dominic to his study. It wasn't a long wait, however, and she entered the room with her hair ever so slightly rumpled, as though she hadn't gotten all the roughed-up spots from a recent sleep.
"I hope I didn't keep anyone waiting, my alarm didn't wake me up," she said with a smile, though the look she gave Dominic was somewhat pointed. She knew he hadn't woken her even though she had asked him to do so, because of the reason she'd needed him to do it – she slept more frequently now and often slept through her once-natural internal alarm.
The reason for her oversleep would be relatively clear, as at nearly twenty weeks pregnant, Hestia's belly was now becoming visible, a definite bump on her formerly trim stomach. As they were home for the evening, even though she'd known they would be meeting with Morgandy and her confidante, she was dressed for comfort in casual clothing, pants and a top rather than robes.
"Hestia Jones, it's good to meet you," she said as she approached the man that, to her, was named Wyatt Alexander, holding her hand out to the man.
At Gideon's side, Mory's attention was on him even though she was careful to make it unobtrusive.
