Cradling his head against her stomach with one hand, Hestia ran the other through his hair several times, slow and soothing though she knew no touch she could come up with right now would actually soothe him. There was no counter to Hannah missing, save getting her back, and as the days slipped by with few owls and only one exchange in the journals, it became harder to believe that would happen any moment.
