Card left on Alex's desk [AC, MM]
A card is propped on Alex's desk at the Prophet, as Meg knew he would stop in there in the morning to 'check' on the paper and no doubt get distracted with work. Inside is something meant to keep him distracted from work, a series of moving photographs that reveal the progression of a strip tease for him.

The card has a handwritten note.

Ace,

I hope you enjoy your little birthday surprise. Now get back to the flat, it's a holiday and your birthday too. I want to celebrate.

- Meg

I'd actually like to celebrate your birthday for a few hours before we go to Mum and Da's for the afternoon.

I'm serious, Ace, put down your damned quill... or I'll invite a neighbor over to appreciate my gift wrapping abilities.

I'm finishing up, I promise. Believe me, Meg, there's no place I'd rather be on my birthday than with you.

I'm coming, no need to get the neighbors involved. It is MY birthday after all.
