Aiode Out Of Character

I've added another character to my arsenal!

This is Alex Russo who is from the Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place. Yes, I'm a sucker for Disney shows. I can't help it! Some of them are just too cute and too hilarious to not watch. Plus I think David Henri is way hot, which is okay because I think he's 18...

Anyway! Alex is here by pure accident like most, but is here without her brothers, best friend and parents. She'll be going in to her junior year of high school at Aiode Falls High and can be a handful. She's a wizard and really doesn't make an attempt to hide her powers and abilities too much like wizards are suppose to. I'm sure she'll have fun interacting with the Harry Potter crew and exchanging spells.

Of course, since she has no family here and she's not in college, she's going to need some room and board. I'm hoping she can shack up in Astrid's boarding house for now if that's okay! :D

Also, she really won't have to worry about getting stuff since there are spells in her wizarding book that allow her to create and conjure up items to live by (clothes, food, computers...etc). It may be wonky, though, since her wand did crack upon landing in a bin of letters in the local post office. Go figure.

Otakon is over and done, so I'm back for a bit until my next venture later in August/September.

I really didn't catch up with anything yesterday since I was very tired and slept most of the day away.

That said, I'm very much ready to start plotting, threading, etc with people with the following characters:

The July Calendar is completely finished! Enjoy!

Just a quick note --

The July calendar is, of course, still unfinished and had events listed through yesterday. We will certainly do our best to get the remainder of the calendar finished as soon as possible.

Please feel free to comment/discuss on the previous events.

Also -- would people like to have a back-dated group thread for Sunday's firework display? We do apologize if people were looking forward to a group thread of sorts for the brainwave plot. Things were slowed and delayed a bit due to the holiday weekend and other real life priorities and complications. In the future, we will not be planning group plots during holiday weekends. While some may give us extra time to write, it may also prove to be more stressful, complicated and generally just not fun for everyone.

Also, for group plots, as a general vote/preference: How long would you like to see group plots last? We planned to move through the plot fairly quickly as we didn't want to tie a lot of characters down for too long. But we still wanted to provide something that everyone could, hopefully, play off of. So, thoughts? Suggestions?**

We also continue to work on updating character lists, dorm assignments, contact information, the taken character list, job sites...etc. If you see something missing from any of those key areas that effect you or your character, please let us know. We'll work to correct it, add it or change it as quickly as possible.
