Veronica was damn tired of filing papers and grading assignments and doing whatever other task popped into Bateman's stupid fucking head, and she was taking a break. It was like she was working 24/7 now, and the pay wasn't even great. She hardly got to see Bond anymore, and that made her even more cranky than usual. She was headed into town for some coffee. Some real coffee. She missed Morgan and Corinthos coffee, she liked working there and Jason was pretty cool.

She stepped onto the sidewalk, trying to decide what she wanted as she locked the car with the little button. She seriously needed a vacation.

Sylar had been roaming around town for a little while now. He and Elle would end up finding each other at some point, so he wasn't too concerned with looking for her. He couldn't help smiling when he saw the blonde by the car, though. He hadn't known she had a car. Didn't surprise him, though -- she was a girl who really hated being inconvenienced.

"Nice car," he said with a smile as he approached. "Fits you."

	Was he...talking to her? Like he knew her? She'd never seen the guy before in her life. "Uh, thanks." She told him. How did he know what fit her? Well, maybe he was a friend of James, or something. 	"How long have you had it? I mean, I didn't realize you had a car." Something about this didn't seem quite right. Elle seemed rather subdued, and that wasn't how she was. 	Veronica wasn't the only one feeling the weird; Sylar still couldn't figure out whether this was or wasn't Elle. One moment he thought it was; the next, he wasn't so sure.
