Genna throws a tantrum. Who: Genna Stark, whoever can hear the screaming When: Morning of Day 4. Where: Princess Genna's chambers, and the hallways surrounding the family's rooms. Rating: PG Status: Open
She had just come from the make-shift heart tree in the Godswood, where she had left her doll in the tree's care, stripped of its Stark dress, and smeared with blood from a cut on Genna's knee- she'd pulled the scab off by herself. She had knelt by the tree and explained her case- she wanted her sister to get better. She also wanted to be a Child of the Forest and she wouldn't mind giving up the castle or anything else if Gwyn would just get better. She also added that the stupid septa had made her pray to the Seven but Genna knew that wouldn't work so they shouldn't be mad about that.
And now she was in her chambers, her own clothes stripped off and the Septa and an unfortunate maid were attempting to put her back into the dress. "I won't do it!"
"Princesses wear dresses. You like dresses!"
"I am not a princess. I'm a Child of the Forest and I hate dresses."
It quickly dissolved into a game of shrieking tag, as the maid and septa chased Genna through the rooms, out to the hallway and back in a vain attempt to catch and dress their charge. They nearly had her once, but her younger brother Ryben's timely intervention sent the maid sprawling and wound up with his Maester joining the chase. Unfortunately Ryben wasn't as fast as his sister, but the Maester- balancing a now screaming Ryben in one arm- managed to help herd Genna back into her rooms. For about a second. And then Genna took off out the door once again, but Septa Marien caught hold of her.
"YOU CANT MAKE ME! FAAAAAAAAATHHHEEEEEEEER!" Genna screamed bloody murder as Marien's hand closed around her wrist, but Genna had played tag enough with the squires and kitchenboys to be able to break the hold- a solid kick to Septa Marien's shin did it- and she took off, streaking down the hall in her shift, Ryben's screams echoing after her as his nurse and Maester set about fruitlessly attempting to calm him.
