Elia patted his shoulder and wiped her damp hand on a chair in passing. Between her brothers' habbits and Jaehaerys' various phases where cleanliness was concerned she'd mostly given up commenting on it, but really dunking one's head in water did not a shower make. "Of course I'm cheerful. My dearest brother has decided to please all the land by at long last entering into... what is it the Septons call it? Matrimonial bliss?" The prospect of a cannibal husband wasn't enough to deter her and she clapped her hands in an attitude of joyous indifference.
"Sea-lions? Well, at least they won't be dull between the sheets, though I can't say I'm looking forward to explaining my way out of a stewpot every night at dinner."
She glanced at the food and shook her head. "No. I'm on a fast to keep myself looking unappetizing to any wayward, hungry suitors."
