Elia Martell is Bored. Woe unto Kings Landing. Who: Elia, Prosperyn and anyone else she can drag along in her wake When: The evening after everyone's arrival Where: Starting out in the Red Keep, heading out for hedonistic debauchery and running amok as soon as she can arrange. Rating: PG but with any luck it'll get up to R. Status: Closed.
There was something dangerous in Elia Martell’s eyes as she drifted through the hallways of the Red Keep in a rustle of silks and a waft of amber myrrh imported from Volantis. She had watched the other envoys arrive and passed several amusing hours in offering commentary on their various modes of transport and dress with Alyxa Dalt and a few of her other traveling companions, but now she wanted... other friends. She had hoped Prosperyn would drop in but he’d been too busy with his White Cloak duties she supposed. And Aenyris… Elia sighed, well, she’d probably make herself scarce if she were in poor Aeny’s shoes too. She paused by an ornately carved window and looked out at the empty courtyard below.
She missed her old rooms, the ones near Aeria’s with the lovely view and Paegon’s voice carrying down the hall, and her nephew running in to drag her off on some new adventure or other.
At least there had been that lovely chat with Aelon Greyjoy. He seemed promising at least- though whether she meant that as a paramour or a useful contact to have, she wasn’t entirely sure. The Iron Islands were reavers, but that gave them some power. Perhaps Dorne could use such an alliance… though the Seven themselves would not force Elia to live there and Myrwin had better appreciate that part.
She wanted out. Right now. Running through the streets, screaming with laughter and song. She wanted… abandon. No more wolves or suns or lions or dragons or krakens. Out. Elia touched the sticks in her hair, absently adjusting them as she tried to focus. Time to find people… She went still as she heard footsteps approaching. Not a servant’s quiet tread but someone else… Elia arranged her skirts and waited. Please let it be someone interesting....
