Little conspiracies... Who: Tyrith, Toria, Lily perhaps? When: Day 22, evening Where: The Red Keep, Tyrith's rooms Rating: PG-13 for scheming nobles Status: OPEN
Tyrith leaned back against the silk cushions of the couch he'd had drug from the port at Myr (what was the advantage of gold mines if you couldn't furnish your house and travelling rooms as you liked?) as he examined the vial in his hand. The contents looked rather like someone had taken the blood of an octopus and mixed it unsuccessfully with mercury... a drink of this was like to be worse than death. But then, that was usual for a cure. And if it killed the child, well, she was dead for all purposes in any case. Better to end her suffering. If it cured her, then so much the better of course...
He wasn't fond of thinking that Prince Jaehaerys would knowingly kill a child, but Targaryens had done things far more cruel than give silent death to a doomed little one. Tales of Brightflame, Mad Aerys... oh yes, Targaryens had their cruelty just as Lannisters had theirs.
Tyrith glanced up as someone came to his door. His squire bowed formally. The boy never did act normally around Toria or Lily... "Send her in, whichever it is,' he advised before the boy could speak, the vial already slipped into his sleeve. Another bow and the lad disappeared again.
