[THREAD]: Let's light 'em up! Characters: Tabitha Smith & America Chavez NPCs: --- Location: A random scrap yard on Staten Island Timeline: Saturday, May 14th, 1 p.m. Description: Tabby and America decide to blow up a bunch of stuff. Rating: PG-13 for language.
Somehow, America always knew when Tabby didn't need anything more than a chance to get out and blow some stuff up. Parking her Jeep right outside of the scrap yard, Tabitha jumped out, black boots crunching the stones beneath her feet. "Let's go, bitch. I didn't drive out to this garbage dump island for shits and giggles." Blue eyes scanned the yard, cars covered in dents were left to rust in the warm spring sun. Shrugging off her leather jacket, she tossed it on the hood of the Jeep, allowing her hands better motion to control her timebombs.
It was the little things that mattered in her small existence. Sure, this wasn't taking down a terrorist team, it wasn't some sort of big mission to take down a super villain, it was just two girls blowing off some steam. Yet, it was enough for Tabby to feel content, she had been itching to blow something up and the Danger Room just wasn't giving her the satisfaction that would come from real damage. Tabitha thought joining the X-Men would make her feel better about being a hero, but her lack of involvement in a lot of their activities left her a bit of an outcast. She didn't work at the school like a lot of her former classmates that stuck around the mansion afterwards. She wasn't some sort of super genius like the other teachers around her, she didn't have the knowledge to teach. She stuck around the mansion because she agreed to help the X-Men and try to help the new batch of students. She was listed on the school staff page as an adviser. It wasn't much, but it kept a roof over her head and a warm meal every night and she was able to keep in touch with friends that she had made over the years at the X-House and New York in general.
Tabitha shot America a cheeky grin as a large orange orb the size of a softball formed in the palm of her hand. Hauling her arm back like she was going to pitch for the major leagues, Tabitha hurled the timebomb towards an overturned car. Upon impact, the timebomb exploded, shredding off the door - it went flipping in the opposite direction as the car flex back and rolled over and over. "Boom goes the dynamite, baby!" Jumping up excitedly, Tabby smirked and glanced at America, her look asking her what she had in store next. This felt like a game of HORSE between two mutants who had too much time and energy in their hands.
