Ginny was still adjusting to life in the safehouse. While it was very different from the academy in most ways, other parts of it were not so far off from that previous life. The biggest similarity being that she couldn't be wherever she pleased whenever she pleased. Someone was always around and asking if she was alright, where she had been, where she was going and if she needed anything. It was a little exhausting.
Still, the food was loads better, her bed was like sleeping on a cloud and she was thrilled to be able to bathe whenever she felt like it. Plus, she had new clothes which weren't tattered or torn or stained or smelly. All in all, life was much better.
Finding herself a little bored, the redhead wandered the old house looking for something to do. When she couldn't stay focused on a book, she headed towards the kitchen to see if she could help with dinner or anything.
When she pushed the door open she was pleasantly surprised to find her Mum in there alone. It was rare to find anyone on their own in the smallish house. "Need a hand with anything?" She asked, taking a seat at the kitchen table.
