thread: marauders!

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Mr. Sinister and the Loser Squad. ...>.>
When: let's pretend it's the night Sinister said they'd meet--Sunday 7th
Where: 2593 Route 52, Taconic Plaza, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533. That's a Dunkin' Donuts, kids. Look it up. :)
What: Mr. S has appropriately sinister plans that he needs the Marauders to help him with. Bwahahaha.

They made a mean cup of coffee. )

Thread: BRAVE NEW WORLD BATTLE

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: The X-Men, the Brotherhood, and NPCs for all sides
When: Early morning Saturday, March 15 and moving into March 16, 2008 -- this battle will last at least two actual days, maybe longer, which will account for any "frozen" time if the thread stalls the rest of the game----this is a battle of such importance that it would make no sense if it only lasted one day.
Where: Washington, D.C.
What: The battle for governmental power in America begins! For the detailed battle plan, please see the OOC post about it. Characters not on the list who choose to show up can show up... whatever :) but the plan is there to keep people's heads from exploding.

Log: Vertigo & Accord

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Valerie Reed and Jack Bantock
When: Afternoon, Monday, February 18, 2008
Where: Jack's home, Queens, NYC
What: V is bored and lonely and lives a sad, lonely life when she doesn't actively have a job with Sinister, so she goes to bother Jack... and then tries to crack through his impenetrable shell, because he's so uncaring that that can't be real.

I draw the line at flirting via arm stump. )

Thread: Accord and Mermaid

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who; Jack Bantock and Arla Lawrence
When; February 17th, evening
Where; McNally's Bar and Grill
What; Jack's really bored, so he offers to answer Arla's questions in exchange for food and beer. Too bad she didn't know it was that easy in the beginning, right?

Jack Bantock was easily bribed, especially when he asked for said bribe. After that clone fiasco, all that was really going on with Sinister was that weird fixation he had with the Mirror woman, and Jack's job with that was over. There was no reason to hang around Sinister and watch him wank off to the Japanese woman, which meant a drink was in order. And a burger. With onions. But no mustard; mustard and onions never went together.

McNally's was actually owned by a small middle eastern man (or whatever he was) that had begged and pleaded up and down to the government to keep his bar open, and as a result, it had attracted quite a few mutants who needed something to eat and a place to get drunk. It was dingy, it had gone a bit to seed, but the food was still good, so Jack waited at the table for Arla, smoking what must have been the last of the pack that day.

Log: Accord and Vertigo

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who; Jack Bantock and Vertigo
When; Backdated to December 19th, just after V gets pwned by Carol
Where; Jack's house in Clinton (that's Hell's Kitchen to the rest of you)
What; Vertigo goes to Jack for help after getting pwned by Ms. Marvel, and ... Jack's an asshole and doesn't really care if Sinister's pissed at her. So she throws her hand at him and gets up to leave and hits him with her powers, and Jack's like, "Bitch, please" and zaps her. And V gets pwned. Again.

If there was one thing he hated, it was that post-vomit aftertaste. Ew. )
