Who: Oliver Wood and Dahlia Montgomery
What: Oliver goes food shopping and runs into Dahlia
When: Sunday Afternoon
Where: A local Tesco
Rating: TBD
Status: OPEN

After what seemed like an eternity, Oliver had finally recovered. His injuries were barely noticeable and he looked almost like he'd never been captured, with the exception of a scar on his back. The empty flat provided numerous problems, most importantly the lack of sustenance and a lack of light thanks to a power surge that knocked out a couple of light bulbs.

Dressed in jeans and a plaid shirt, Wood left his apartment and headed around the corner to Tesco. Maybe it was the strange halogen lights or the sheer openess in the wake of his capture, but the discount store seemed massive.

Slowly, Oliver weaved his way through the food aisles making sure to pick up all the staples -- eggs, bread, chicken, beer -- before wandering randomly though the store trying to procure light bulbs. At one point he found himself completely mesmerized by a flat-screen television.

With a sigh, he parted ways with the beautiful electronic and turned down the next aisle where there was cookware. Gently, Wood picked up a large pot to replace the old one he had back at the flat, when out of the corner of his eye Oliver saw a familiar face.

Dahlia, with her little grocery basket in hand, sulked through the aisles, tossing items that she thought would be easy to make--most of which consisted of canned soups and vegetables. Audrey had told her to cook something for when Mandy got there, but she never did specify, so...

"Chicken and stars," she murmured before sauntering away from the food aisle to look around at other things. Dahlia figured she had a little time to spare before she needed to get home. Humming to herself, she approached the cookware aisle, ready to just pass it up after a swift glance, when an individual caught her attention.

"...Oliver?" she inquired with a head tilt.

Oliver turned quickly at the mention of his name. It was one of the few times that someone had recognized him at a store that was not his own.

Smiling, he quickly scanned the face, knowing instantly the woman that stood before him. "Dahlia."

His smile grew as his teeth became visible. It was genuine and his eyes beamed. "Long time no see."

Her own grin broadened, lighting up her face. "Wow, long time no see is right!"

Stepping forward, she let out a small laugh and gave him a warm, friendly hug. "Bloody hell, Oliver! It's good to see you." Pulling away, Dahlia then rose an eyebrow and made a small 'pop!' sound with her lips while she studied him.

"...You were among the kidnapped, yeah? You look alright and all, but...are you really okay to be out and about on your own?"

Oliver couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt at the question. It seemed that everyone wanted to remind him of his nights trapped in that cell.

With a sigh he nodded. "Yeah, I was." He paused. "I'm fine and I have to go on with my life -- I'm not going to become a shut-in because of a few crazies."
