Between field training for being released as an Auror, pretending to care about the bills she had to pay and work, Alicia barely found time to catch up with old friends. Aside from George, Angelina, Katie and Oliver, Ginny was the only person she spoke to outside of her old Hogwarts crew. That was mainly because Ginny was a character and a Weasley. They were naturally more fun- save Percy, he was a prat. A loveable yet annoying prat that she enjoyed hazing whenever she was at the ministry. It was too bad he lost the fem-glasses, gave her less to tease him about. However, it did give her something to remember when she had little else to do. Her mind did enjoy wandering when she was bored and business was slow. Since it was the generally slow time of the year and the restart of the season, people rarely stopped by to buy or return anything. That meant she was stuck doing nothing all day. Luckily for her she was always smart enough to bring Cotton.
The hairless cat was great company, especially since there was no way people be allergic to him. That and he was friendly to just about everyone. Just about being the key phrase. There were some people who he who he despized- one of them being a friend who seemed more like an enemy at times. Luckily for both, Marcus stayed cleasr of the store. After a fight that dragged the old teams as a topic and how she did not pursue a career he refused to come back. Not that it hurt her, it was more offensive than anything.
The bell rang loudly, saying someone was in the store. Ali's brow arched heavily as her head turned. She watched to see someone emerge; Ali turned her body fully and noticed a familiar figure walk into view. Sadly she more of him in Witch Weekly than in person.
"Oi, glad to see your majesty decided to grace me with his presense," she told him with an evil smile playing on her lips.
