Unconciously, she leaned into his comfortingly sturdy person. "Are you always this bossy?" she groused half-heartedly. Were she honest, she was more than ready to get a pain potion and some bruise salve as well as her fuzzy pajamas with the ducks on them. The adrenaline rush of being rescued was very quickly wearing off and she could feel the after effects of each of the hexes that had been lobbed at her.
"You do realize that my dog is bigger than I am. He takes up a lot of real estate." She tightened her hold on him as they stepped outside. "I could always stay with him in the shed if my house is swarming with nosy police types."
