Sammy turned his big eyes on James. "You eat on the couch? Doesn't your Mummy get mad about the crumbs?"
"It's not the crumbs," Bobby muttered under his breath, "it's the mustard." His litte mouth screwed up at his brother's mention of their mother but he didn't complain. Josiah moved the grapes back onto his plate and won a wane smile from the elder boy.
Josiah smiled at her. "Yeah, it is nice." It was nice to do the whole family meal thing. If nothing else, seeing the boys eating and seemingly settled down in this strange situation made him feel a little better.
