Greg took a moment to marshall his thoughts. "I had more family before the Battle of Hogwarts," he said finally, "I lost a few cousins that day and most of the rest doesn't acknowledge us any more. They don't want to be tarred with the same brush." He couldn't blame them even if he had so desperately needed the help when trying to pick up the pieces after his father was arrested.
"Great Uncle Gregory wasn't exactly a carpenter. He dabbled 'cause it wouldn't have been proper to make money off something so common. He let me hang around his shop when I was a kid. It gave us both a reason to be out of the house."
